In September 2003 Nathan, (after winning karaoke competitions as Jon Bon Jovi) decided that he would form a tribute band.  He approached an outstanding and very experienced local guitarist and asked if he would be interested in joining him on this venture.  Steve immediately agreed to participate and so Richie Sambora was on board!

The role of keyboard player was easy as Nathan’s brother Marcus, who like Nathan himself is also a fan of Bon Jovi and a talented player assumed the role of David Bryan and assisted Nathan with strong backing vocals. The role of Hugh McDonald was filled by Max (aka Massimo from Napoli-Italy) who replied to the band's national advertisement for a bass guitarist.  Max was previously a student at the Guitar & Bass Institute London (the same college that Steve ie. Richie attended!) and was voted bass player of the year. The role of Tico Torres has changed a few times over the years but is now fulfilled by Gavin Tester. Gavin is a very experienced rock drummer from Sussex who has played as a session drummer for some well-known rock bands during the early 90s.

Fortunately a good friend named Mark (a qualified sound engineer) became involved in controlling the sounds of the newest and hottest live tribute act to Bon Jovi... ...'BORN TO BE JOVI’!

BORN TO BE JOVI quickly established themselves in the tribute industry and now regularly play to audiences from five hundred to twenty thousand! The band have been congratulated on their performance and outstanding musicianship by fans, venue-managers and agents alike.

Press Testimonial:

"BORN TO BE JOVI gave us hits like Keep The Faith and You Give Love a Bad Name. The set was great, the musicianship outstanding and the overall result of this showcase appearance has to be copious numbers of engagement contracts being passed their way!"
- Mark Ritchie, The Stage -The Newspaper for the Entertainment Industry

All the band members are based on the Southcoast.
